ERIC PRESENTED AND PERFORMED AT UWEC BONE SUMMIT
MORE THAN 100 TROMBONE PLAYERS PARTICIPATED OCTOBER 8 IN THE SEVENTH UPPER MIDWEST TROMBONE SUMMIT IN THE HAAS FINE ARTS CENTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-EAU CLAIRE.     

THE EVENT FEATURED A MASTER CLASSES AND A RECITAL BY GUEST ARTIST TONY BAKER WHO CURRENTLY TEACHES AT THE PRESTIGIOUS NORTH TEXAS UNIVERSITY.  

SONGERSTUDIO’S ERIC SONGER PRESENTED ON “THE NEXT GENERATION OF MUSIC EDUCATION” AND ALSO PERFORMED IN AN ALUMNI TROMBONE ENSEMBLE.  

THE FESTIVAL WAS ORGANIZED BY THE AMAZING DR. PHILLIP OSTRANDER WHO IS THE UW-EAU CLAIRE ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF TROMBONE.  ALSO HELPING WITH THE FESTIVAL WAS THE INCREDIBLE RODNEY HUDSON WHO ASSISTED IN DIRECTING THE ALUMNI ENSEMBLE.
