The first Beginning Guitar class was offered in 2001.  It began as an after school class open to only middle school students.  Periodically since 2005, the class has been offered during the evening so adults can also take the course.  In the late ‘00s, a course called Intermediate Guitar was offered on a couple occasions but is currently not being offered.  Beginning in 2007, Beginning Guitar has also been offered during the summer and has been open to high school age students as well.  The course is usually offered in the summer and the fall.  Evening and after school sessions are periodically offered in the winter and spring.
